Welcome to the homepage of the 4th European Airway Congress 2017 in Berlin (EAC 2017), which is the annual meeting of the European Airway Management Society (EAMS).
The two major goals of the meeting mottoes are to enhance airway management education and networking of the airway management community.

Expert sessions are small intimate learning environments, where leaders in their fields are there to discuss airway topics of your choice. Join these experts to interactively discuss latest ideas, understanding and debates on the issues such as clinical dilemmas, equipment queries, guidelines clarifications and many more. EAC 2017 is inviting anaesthetists, nurses and students to submit abstracts related to airway management in the following 6 categories: Education, Clinical science, Equipment, Audits and Surveys, Quality and Safety and Case reports.

Are you involved into airway management training and education? One focus of the conference is the presentation to new teaching methods and concepts to give you new ideas to improve your department’s level of competences.
Pre-conference workshop: Teach-the-airway-teacher (TAT)
Arriving to the conference early? Don’t forget to book onto the pre-conference small group workshops. The Teach-the-airway-teacher workshop is suitable for senior trainees and new consultants who wish to set up or organise airway training within their department. The day consists of a mixture of lectures and workshops. The topics includes what & how to teach, who should attend the training, how to use different modalities of teaching for varying budgets and facilities, how to ensure the course complies with the current guidelines, how to teach in multidisciplinary settings, including how to co-ordinate teams and manage people throughout training, and how to set up generating courses locally.
Congress Mentee Program
Are you the new kid on the block? Do you want to take the opportunity to meet the airway community? Do you want to share ideas or just have a quick chat to the experts? Please join our mentee program and will find ways to introduce you to members of our society.
Besides the many opportunities to get in contact with members of the society during the workshops and in between the lectures, there will be two evening events. These events are specially designed to “meet and greet”, enhance the exchange of ideas and might provide the base for future collaborations.
